"Can I just say how much I love loved this class series? I have taken other classes and have been involved in childbirth education for awhile now, and your class is the best one I've seen so far. Everything is well organized and logically laid out. I also very much appreciate your servant's attitude about the whole process. We get the feeling that you really want us to learn this, so that more women can be served." Priscilla

"I am so thankful to have found A Woman Who Serves Doula Certification Program! I longed to be a certified birth doula, but I needed something self-paced that I could chip away at when my kiddos were sleeping or busy playing and I preferred a program that was led by a fellow believer and faith-based so I wouldn't have to compromise my personal convictions. Amaris is a wonderful teacher, and the course was super thorough. I am confident in my ability to provide excellent birth support and a huge part of that is because of this program! "I am so grateful to have been referred to this course by a friend who also trained under Amaris. The convenience of being able to complete training virtually and at my own pace was important for me as I balanced family and career. Having an instructor who so boldly and apologetically affirms the miracle of life and the role of women as created by God is a refreshing gift in our culture. "I cannot say enough good things about A Woman Who Serves Doula Training. I was looking for awhile for a program that shared my values. Finally, I found AWWS and was overjoyed. The training is very affordable, which was a pleasant surprise, as many I look into previously were pretty pricey. While the training is affordable, the value is high! Amaris is an excellent teacher. She is very knowledgeable and has a gift in how she shares that knowledge. I am so thankful for A Woman Who Serves."  Rachel

I would recommend this program to anyone looking to learn and be under amazing leadership. This program is self-paced and affordable, with assignments, quizzes, and live classes. Amaris equips you with everything that you need to succeed, and doesn't fail to help you, even after you are certified and serving other women."  Yasmine

"I scoured the internet trying to find a doula training program that fit my busy schedule as a full-time mom and aligned with my faith. Once I discovered AWWS, I knew that I had to look no further. The AWWS Birth Doula training exceeded all of my expectations! At the conclusion of the program, I feel confident, prepared, and ready to go out and serve as a birth doula."  Caitie

"As I worked through my certification, I felt I was becoming greatly educated with such a well-rounded balance of information in my pursuit of becoming a birth doula. I was comforted that my education was holding true to God's word and what it says about women being vessels who take part in such an act of sacrificial love to bring new life into this world. Amaris was also very encouraging, as she was so responsive with my numerous emails with questions, as well as her interactive teaching of our virtual classes!"  Brittany

"Thank you SO much for this incredible course. You have been such an inspiration and example of a Christian birth worker and educator, and I am so grateful for your witness. When I first started discerning becoming a doula, I knew that I could not handle the politics/wokeness/moral questions of some of the organizations. I am so grateful to have found your course! I feel so equipped and empowered to be a Christian doula because of your training."  Nicole

"I was so grateful for my certification experience with A Woman Who Serves.  From the start, Amaris answered all my questions and AWWS's cross-certification program was a perfect fit for me.  I had trained with a doula organization years ago that no longer exists, and I was able to share my training materials, watch the online training videos, read the resources provided, and participate in live virtual classes to complete my cross-certification on my own timetable (I wanted to complete it quickly!) and at a very reasonable cost.  Beyond the flexibility of virtual training and the benefit of lifelong certification (versus other programs that require costly renewal), it was AWWS's ethos that drew me to this path to certification.  "A Woman Who Serves" literally defines what it means to be a doula, and orients the heart posture of all who partake in AWWS certification from the very start. AWWS aims to honor the tremendous physician, emotional, and spiritual transformation that happens when a woman becomes a mother by empowering women to walk alongside each other through pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum period.  Having gone through a prior doula training program as well as other continuing education opportunities over the years, I was really pleased with the course content and felt it equipped doulas well.  Even more so, I was pleased with the type of doula AWWS aims to produce- a woman competent, compassionate and aware of the privilege and honor it is to walk alongside mothers in this sacred space."  Susanne

"This training is a gem! I did not expect to find a doula training that I truly aligned with, but this one was a perfect fit. Not only did I leave with tools to support women and open a business, but I finished with a village of support and confidence to follow my calling. Amaris teaches clearly and gracefully. I recommend this program!"  Jessi

"Thank you so much, for this course and your wisdom along the way! It has truly been a blessing. I pray God continues to fill you, as you pour out to so many. Your ministry is absolutely beautiful, and I will be forever grateful that I was blessed to be a recipient. From my heart, thank you."  Danielle

"I absolutely loved this course through AWWS. Amaris is a great teacher, support, and the course content was really helpful in equipping me to officially be a birth doula. I was able to do it at my own pace. I am really grateful that it was taught based on Christian values. I learned a lot and am more confident in my passion to serve expecting families. I am very excited to be going on this journey with this training. Thank you Amaris, and I’m so happy to be part of this family!"  Mosa

"A woman who serves doula training was an amazing course. I was able to do my training while deployed so that I could come back to the states and start my business! I loved how descriptive and informative the class was and having the online virtual sessions allowed you to ask any questions and get face to face answers. Highly recommend Amaris’ training to anyone who is interested!"  Jessica

"I’m very grateful to have been introduced to AWWS! I originally started my certification with another organization, but after praying through and with much consideration, I decided to start over with AWWS. I was seeking to find a training that would come from an organization that could prepare me with the appropriate level of education, while also being biblically founded at the core. I so enjoyed the self paced, online modules as I could do things on my own time and really dive in with my learning of the material. As I worked through my certification, I felt I was becoming greatly educated with such a well-rounded balance of information in my pursuit of becoming of a birth doula. I was comforted that my education was holding true to God’s word and what it says about women being vessels who take part in such an act of sacrificial love to bring new life into this world. Amaris was also very encouraging, as she was so responsive with my numerous emails with questions, as well as her interactive teaching of our virtual classes! I honestly didn’t know what to expect when I first heard about AWWS, but I have been extremely impressed and so happy certifying with this organization. I’m thankful to have been able to combine my passion for serving women and Jesus in the way of being able to learn from this biblically based, comprehensive training! Thank you again sincerely for providing this opportunity for so many women! It has been a true blessing."  Brittany

"A Woman Who Serves Doula Training is a beautiful course educating women on how to be confident, caring, and knowledgeable doulas. Amaris is an amazing instructor and woman of God. The doula training is affordable, thorough, and most importantly - fun! The bonus was that it opens the door to a lovely community of doulas and doulas-to-be to have support and resources along the journey! I can't wait to take more A Woman Who Serves certification courses in the future!"   Jade

"I recently completed my doula certification through A Woman Who Serves, and I would recommend it to anyone interested in becoming a doula, especially Christians. I have wanted to become a professional doula for years but did not agree with or align with a lot of the things taught in other courses, as some of the subject matter is simply unbiblical. For that reason I put off getting my certification, but when I came across Amaris’ course, I enrolled right away! And it delivered on everything I hoped it would. It was educational and Biblically grounded. This isn’t just a doula course, but a ministry! 5 stars for sure!” Lauren

"After looking for many different types of doula courses, I wanted to find one that fit my beliefs and didn't push any training on me that was not in line with my faith in Jesus Christ. Finally, I found A Woman Who Serves! The course was complete and thorough, and the Zoom training was fun and interactive and made me think. I highly recommend this course to any Christian who is looking to avoid the worldly doula courses and instead follow a training that focuses on helping mothers and being a witness for Christ. Thank you!" Shannon

"Amaris is a wonderful teacher and woman of God! She made it clear from the start that she was always there to answer any and all of our questions which is so important for an online course. I learned so much from her course, not only about labor and delivery but also tips on starting a business and dealing with difficult situations in hospitals." Carolyn

"I am thankful I chose A Woman Who Serves for my doula certification; it holds the same values and faith I have, while also staying true to the in-depth training it offers. Though it is online, I gained a lot of information in the two live zoom meetings. I could study at my own pace, yet felt that I was still moving forward during slow times. The assignments gave me a starting ground for my business, while I learned in another module how to create my business. Above all, I appreciated the value placed on community, and met some pretty amazing doulas who love the Lord and will truly make an impact on society." Elizabeth

“Empowering and enjoyable; those are the two words that come to mind after going through the AWWS Birth Doula training. Finding AWWS was such a blessing and the knowledge I gained from this course has me ready to help ALL the mamas. There's a lot to learn about pregnancy, labor and birth, but Amaris did such a great job organizing all the information, handouts and videos, so that it's clear, concise and easy to understand AND retain. I'm so thankful for a course that involves faith and a love for God, because He is a huge part of my life and how I can support families. I can't wait to further my education with the rest of the AWWS courses.” Maddie

"I am so grateful God led me to AWWS Doula training program! AWWS Doula training program was everything I hoped for and more. The birth doula program was so accessible and convenient. The content was very well presented and informative. It was such a blessing to learn from a sister in Christ from a biblical perspective. Amaris is an amazing teacher! I loved everything about the program and can’t wait to start the postpartum course soon." Kristi

“First off, I must say thank you God for blessing Amaris with her gift of teaching so that she can be a blessing to others. This class was very straightforward and applicable. I loved that it is self-paced, which most of us can agree is very ideal. The information on the topics discussed were taught in depth and with a powerful deliverance. I attained an incredible amount of knowledge in this course that I can boldly bring into the work field of doulaship!” Raveen

"I thoroughly enjoyed doing this course! I was so grateful to find a self-paced program I could do on top of my busy schedule. All the content was relevant and interesting and it made me fall even more in love with the process of pregnancy and birth. The live zoom classes were engaging and such a helpful space to be able to ask questions and hear from the other students. I would highly recommend this course!" Gwendolyn

"I am so happy I chose to become certified through AWWS and will continue to get the other certifications offered through them! In a world where we are constantly being erased as women, especially as Christians, it was important to me to become certified through a program who not only aligned with my values but taught from a biblical and faith based perspective. I have already recommended this program to the others in my area who have shown interest in birth work! Thank you, Amaris, for putting together this very unique program for those of us who wish to spread the gospel through such delicate and important roles doulas play in bringing life into the world for His glory!" Sydney

“When I began searching through programs to get my doula certification, I kept finding that programs were saturated with language and ideology counter to what we believe as Christ followers. Looking for a Christian alternative, I stumbled on AWWS. I am so thankful for what I learned through this program, and as a busy wife and mom I appreciated getting to complete it in my own timeframe." Janolin

“I really loved the AWWS Birth Doula training. The accessibility to training with it being virtual and on your own time (outside of the two zoom classes) and affordability of the program were huge benefits to me. In the recorded classes, Amaris does a great job teaching the information with her tone and delivery. She is easy to listen to and stay focused on the subject matter. I particularly loved the self-reflection essay. While I dreaded it initially, this requirement for certification allowed me to really process a lot while I put my feelings and thoughts in words; what a beautiful bonus. Overall, I would highly recommend this program.” Katharine

"I am so thankful that I found AWWS birth doula course. When I made the decision to become a birth doula after my second baby's birth, I was at a loss to find a birth doula program that aligned with my values. I talked about my quest to find a program on Instagram and a friend reached out and referred me to a woman who serves birth doula training. I read over the information on the website and thanked God that He led me to a program that not only focused on Him and his design for birth but was also affordable. Amaris is very knowledgeable and the modules were easy to follow and break into manageable goals that fit my lifestyle of being a stay at home mom to two little ones. I also really enjoyed the assignments, as they allowed me to really think about the material and apply them in a practical way. I would recommend this course to any Christian woman who is hoping to become a birth doula!" Jaimi

"I absolutely adored A Woman Who Serves doula training. I would recommend it (and have already done so a handful of times) to any woman interested in furthering their birth work education. I had no idea which program to choose from as there are many out there, but what I enjoyed most about AWWS is that it was a very organized, tangible and Christ-centered (which makes all the difference in the world!) program. Amaris was an amazing and thorough instructor and has such a gentle and wise spirit about her! I wish I lived closer to her & could learn from her in person as she has so much knowledge to share. I really loved the zoom call and connecting with other like-minded, Christ-centered, beautiful women passionate about birth work! I have lots of virtual encouragers and friends whom I get to cheer on and be cheered on from for probably a life time! I’m so grateful for the group chat aspect that comes with this program and it has already been SUCH a help during births to get my other fellow AWWS doulas input and I imagine I will be leaning on this resource for a lifetime! Thank you Amaris & AWWS and I’m sure I’ll be back to pursue more programs in the near future!" Hannah

"I truly loved the AWWS Doula Training Program and the impact it had on both my personal and professional growth. The program provided an abundance of thoughtful, well-organized resources that were not only informative but also empowering. Each module helped build my confidence and deepen my understanding of birth work, allowing me to grow into the doula I feel called to be. The training went beyond just teaching skills—it helped shape my mindset, strengthen my purpose, and prepare me to support families with compassion and intention.

Amaris is an exceptional educator whose passion for birth work is evident in every aspect of the program. She shares her knowledge in a way that is both engaging and easy to understand, while also encouraging critical thinking and personal reflection. Her experience and insight added so much depth to the training, and I felt truly supported throughout the learning process. I am incredibly grateful for the guidance, wisdom, and encouragement I received through this program, and I would highly recommend it to anyone pursuing a career as a doula." Reilly
